Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking motivated educators-turned-salespeople for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. You’ll leverage teaching skills to explain coverage options, meet clients by phone or video, and guide them through applications with underwriting updates.

We provide licensing support, access to exclusive lead systems, mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and regular team calls with scripts.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complex life insurance concepts clearly.
• Comfort with planning and scheduling your own calendar.
• Willing to obtain a state life license or be licensed before first sale.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who asked about life insurance.
• Listen to families’ situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete applications.
• Follow applications through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM and continue learning.
