Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is offering a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You’ll help families understand their options and apply, working from home on a schedule you manage.

The position is commission-based with no salary or hourly pay, and requires licensing or plans to obtain one. You'll work from home, make calls and video sessions, log each activity in the CRM, and participate in ongoing training and mentorship from the agency owners.

Qualifications

• Remote life insurance sales role with 1099 independent contractor status.
• Must have or plan to obtain a state life insurance license.
• Comfortable conducting appointments by phone and video from home.
• Ability to work independently with self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information from us
• Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing a single option
• Explain coverage choices in plain language, then complete the application together
• Follow every application through underwriting and keep the family updated until a decision
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules
