The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking a 100% remote independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will assist families who requested information, explain options, and guide them through licensing if needed.

You will work under a 1099 contract with access to exclusive leads and carrier matches. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, listening to client goals, guiding to decisions, and documenting progress in the CRM.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or call-center roles.
• Ability to listen first and understand household goals before presenting options.
• Comfort with guiding customers from questions to a decision and completing applications.
• Willing to obtain state life insurance licensing; timelines vary by state.
• Must have a computer, phone, and reliable internet; 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Return calls from people who have asked about life insurance.
• Listen to households’ goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Explain options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM for follow-up.
• Check in with clients while the carrier reviews their application.
• Participate in ongoing product and state-ruled training.
