Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, 1099 life insurance sales professional. You will help families understand their options, guide them through the application, and manage the process from home on a self-directed schedule.

You’ll work with exclusive leads, access to carrier options, and ongoing mentorship from Ben and Andrea as you build a independent business under the agency banner.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable conducting appointments by phone and video from home
• Independent contractor (1099) with commission-based earnings, no base salary

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested information
• Learn households' situation and priorities before showing options
• Explain coverage choices in plain language and complete the application together
• Follow applications through underwriting and update families until a decision
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules
