Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Gift for explaining complicated ideas without talking down to anyone.
• Willing to learn a new regulated field from the ground up.
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance.
• Listen to families' situations, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Engage in ongoing learning and training as products and rules change.
