Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking independent contractors for a 100% remote life insurance sales role. You will meet with families who requested information by phone or video, guide them through options, and complete applications with underwriting in mind.

You’ll receive mentorship from Ben and Andrea, access to exclusive lead systems, and contracts with 43 carriers to match families to coverage. This is a 1099 role with licensing support.

Qualifications

Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply.
Willing to work remotely with a self-managed schedule.
State life insurance license, or plan to obtain before your first sale.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance.
Listen to families' situation, goals, and worries.
Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application together.
Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
Keep learning as products and rules change and training continues.
