Job summary

The Internal Insurance Strategist (IS) at Crump discusses client needs and sells life insurance and annuities to Crump’s Financial Institutions channel. The role is fully remote, offering flexible work to support advisors and clients.

Candidates should hold an active Life and Health Insurance license, possess strong communication and sales skills, and have experience with underwriting processes and product features across term, whole life, universal life and long-term care options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or 3+ years handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform.
• Active Life and Health Insurance license required.
• Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. Series 6 and 63).

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through discovery to identify gaps and opportunities and describe solutions including life, long term care and disability insurance.
• Manage daily activities and drive sales activity and pending business.
• Handle incoming calls directly from referral sources and be available for pre-set calls with clients and their Advisors.
• Complete insurance applications and follow cases through underwriting process.
• Explain how various insurance products work and differences between product types.
• See all sales activity through towards product purchase.
• Explain estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging and insurance planning including 1035 exchanges.
