Job summary
Seyond, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to drive lidar productlines and solutions in the U.S.
This remote role is based in Michigan, with Detroit or nearby cities preferred and up to 25% travel. You will own go-to-market plans, build strategic partnerships, and translate customer needs into winning proposals while coordinating across Production, Applications, and Purchasing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related discipline.
- 7+ years’ experience in business development, sales, technical sales, product management, or SME in sensors or related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business development activities from concept to production.
- Act as liaison between customer and internal partners to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop the sales forecast and plans and provide updates regularly.
- Maintain knowledge of product lines and pricing strategy.
- Develop new customers and align offerings with customer projects.
- Manage commercial activities, negotiate contracts, close deals, and generate revenue in lidar products in the U.S.
