AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Licensing Engineer Energy for a remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN. You will author licensing content for 10 CFR Part 70 facilities, coordinating with engineering teams and clients to ensure compliant, traceable submissions.

The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge, technical writing, and timely delivery under senior licensing guidance. U.S. citizenship and 810 eligibility are required, with PE desirability.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in nuclear licensing or regulatory affairs.
• Experience drafting licensing applications and regulatory documents.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR Part 70 and NRC guidance.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned sections of 10 CFR Part 70 license applications.
• Gather inputs from clients and other engineers and document assumptions.
• Review content for consistency and raise gaps with senior staff.
• Identify licensing commitments and maintain traceability to regulatory bases.
• Maintain traceability to NRC requirements and guidance.
• Support responses to NRC requests for information and prepare presentations.
