Job summary

Headspace is seeking a part-time, independent-licensed DC therapist to provide virtual care as a 1099 contractor. Sessions run 60 minutes (intake) and 45 minutes (follow-up), with 10+ weekly slots and flexible scheduling.

Requires active US licensure and residency, with sessions conducted from a secure Zoom platform. Pay ranges from $80 to $85 per DC teletherapy session, with rates determined post-interview based on location, licensure, experience and populations treated.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical psychotherapy experience with individuals, couples or families.
• Independent clinical license in good standing (Master or Doctoral BC-TMH if required by state).
• Able to offer at least 10 sessions per week and adjust as needed.
• Competence in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness) and measurement-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality tele-therapy to Headspace patients via HIPAA-compliant video.
• Complete and lock clinical notes within 48 hours of session as part of per-session reimbursement.
• Maintain licensure records and keep availability calendar up to date.
• Collaborate with care team including health coaches, therapists, and psychiatrists.
• Operate within a secure US-based environment and adhere to privacy guidelines.
