Job summary

Adjuvant Behavior Health Inc. is seeking empathetic, experienced mental health professionals for a fully remote therapist role serving cancer patients and families nationwide. The position requires an active Tennessee behavioral health license and a Master’s degree, with a minimum 18 hours of client load per week.

Pay is $55–60 per hour. Preferred candidates have healthcare/oncology experience and telehealth exposure.

Qualifications

Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
Current and active license to practice behavioral health in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

Counsel clients individually and/or in family sessions to help with dependencies, adjustment, or change.
Make internal referrals to IOP if little to no improvement occurs within 8 weeks of OP therapy.
Guide clients in developing skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience; establish SMART goals.
Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports; progress notes within 48 hours of each session.
Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition from client information.
Collaborate with other staff to perform clinical assessments or develop treatment plans within 2 days of establishing care.
Refer patients to community resources or specialists as necessary.
Learn about new developments in counseling by reading, courses, seminars, and professional contacts.
