Job summary

Adjuvant Behavior Health Inc. is seeking empathetic, experienced mental health professionals for a fully remote therapist role focused on cancer patients, families, and caregivers.

You will accept referrals, manage a client load, and conduct individual and family sessions using SMART treatment plans. This position begins as a 1099 contractor; after 90 days and averaging about 25 hours per week, there is an option to transition to a W-2 role.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
• Current and active license to practice behavioral health in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients or patients individually and/or within family sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes.
• Make internal referrals to IOP if little to no improvement occurs within 8 weeks of OP therapy.
• Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge, establishing SMART goals with the patient.
