Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Maryland-licensed mental health therapist for a fully remote, full-time role. You will manage a caseload of 25-36 sessions weekly, provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW-C.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong technology skills and ability to learn systems like Zoom, Google Workspace, and EHR platforms.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes and assessments.
• Develop client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth.
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in our EHR.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.
