Job summary

Backpack Healthcare in Maryland is seeking a licensed mental health therapist for a full-time remote role. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy through telehealth to children, teens, and young adults, maintaining a caseload of 25–36 sessions per week.

Active Maryland license (LGPC/LCPC/LMSW/LMFT/LCSW-C) required. Competitive per-billable rates, monthly bonus potential, 401(k) with 3% match, PTO, and access to supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW-C.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 25–36 sessions per week via telehealth.
• Develop client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth.
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other team members.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in our EHR.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and families.
