Responsibilities

• Perform interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting problems, assess mental status, gather psychosocial history, and aid in accurate diagnoses.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients of various ages.
• Assess psychiatric crises and coordinate crisis intervention with psychiatrists; maintain medical records per guidelines.
• Refer clients to appropriate outside services while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to de-escalate crises and ensure safety.
• Offer coverage for Emergency Services during clinical hours and after-hours as needed.
