Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a part-time Michigan-licensed mental health therapist to deliver telehealth services to children, adolescents, and young adults across Michigan. You’ll schedule sessions in the 2:00-9:00 PM EST window (weekday) with weekend availability welcome, while we handle referrals, billing, and credentialing.

You will perform assessments, create individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan independent license (LPC, LMSW, or LMFT).
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families—or passion for serving this population.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Providing 15-22 telehealth sessions per week.
• Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Delivering evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care team and care coordinators.
• Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within the EHR.
• Supporting families through education and coordinated care.
