Job summary

Confidant Care Consultants in McKinney, Texas seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full‑time remote position, delivering outpatient mental health services through telehealth in a community health clinic setting.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, apply CBT and DBT, educate clients and families, monitor progress, and collaborate with psychiatrists to address psychosocial and pharmacological needs.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
• Proven proficiency in CBT and DBT for mood disorders.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to collaborate with psychiatrists.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes in mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Implement CBT and DBT interventions with fidelity and client preferences.
• Educate clients and families about mood disorders and self-care strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to address holistic needs.
• Stay current with mood disorder research to inform practice.
