Job summary

Lincoln Mental and Psychological Services in Naperville, IL, seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT or PsyD) for a full-time remote position providing evidence-based therapy to clients.

You will conduct assessments, deliver individual therapy (CBT/DBT/Trauma-Informed Care), monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development using teletherapy tools.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a valid and unrestricted license as a LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exhibit excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport and a safe therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude in approach to client interactions.
• Show strong organizational and time-management skills to balance caseload and administrative duties effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns and formulate customized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care, tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Work closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals and regularly monitor their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize clinical outcomes.
• Offer flexible teletherapy options, supporting clients who may prefer virtual engagement to overcome barriers like distance or scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, gaining certifications, and participating in peer consultations to enhance skills and introduce innovative practices to client care.
