Job summary

Insightful Journey for Psychological Solutions, a Downey-based clinic, seeks Licensed Mental Health Therapists for a full-time remote position with hybrid in-person meetings. Join a supportive team delivering accessible mental health services and building strong therapeutic alliances with adults in a community health setting.

Qualified candidates hold a California license (LMFT/LPCC/LCSW) and a Master’s degree, with excellent communication skills and proficiency with documentation systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, MFT, or MH Counseling required.
• Valid and unrestricted license to practice independently in California (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
• Strong clinical and treatment planning skills tailored to each client.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and compassionate demeanor.
• Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and client management.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients by understanding their needs and setting therapeutic goals.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat and in-person when needed.
• Assess clients' mental well-being and develop customized treatment plans addressing their concerns.
• Foster an open, trusting atmosphere for clients to discuss emotions and experiences.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and facilitate referrals as needed.
