Job summary

Foresight Behavioral Health Center is seeking licensed mental health counselors for full-time remote outpatient roles in a Springfield, Illinois-based clinic. You will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and collaborate on personalized care plans tailored to each patient.

The position emphasizes assessments, CBT and other modalities, group sessions, crisis intervention, and thorough documentation within a multidisciplinary team. Remote work with standard daytime hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, MFT, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current Illinois license as LMHC/LCPC/LCSW.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies.
• Experience conducting mental health evaluations and treatment plans.
• Ability to deliver individual and group therapy.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and create tailored treatment strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT to deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups for patient communities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to design integrated and comprehensive care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention when needed.
• Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and community resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation per legal requirements.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development.
