West Hills Behavioral Health Center in Springfield, IL is seeking a licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote-enabled team. This full-time role focuses on delivering individual and family therapy using evidence-based approaches from home, while staying connected with a collaborative care team.

Candidates must hold LMFT/LCPC/LCSW in Illinois and have completed the NCE or NCMHCE, with strong communication and empathy.

Formación

• Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Licensed as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois.
• Eligible to sit NCE or NCMHCE for licensure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong empathy for clients.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for new clients.
• Develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy using multiple modalities.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment to achieve positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses for integrated care.
• Provide referrals to additional services when needed.
• Support families and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges.
