Job summary

Riverside Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a fully remote, full-time position in Illinois. You will assess clients across individuals, couples, families, and groups, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies via telehealth.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (IL) (LMFT/LCPC/LCSW)
• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Minimum of two years of mental health experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate treatment plans
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
• Provide crisis intervention as needed to stabilize clients
• Maintain confidential records and progress notes per ethical standards
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care
• Educate clients and families about conditions, options, and resources
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training
