Job summary

HomeTrino Mortgage is seeking a Florida-licensed Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our purchase-focused mortgage operation. This is not a purely administrative role; we want a mortgage professional who can analyze files, structure loan scenarios, and communicate confidently with borrowers.

The ideal candidate will review income, assets, and credit, run DU/LPA findings, assist with pre-approvals and underwriting, and coordinate with Loan Officers, processors, underwriters, title

Qualifications

• Active Florida Mortgage Loan Originator License (NMLS) required
• Minimum 2 years mortgage industry experience
• Mortgage processing experience required
• Working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgage programs

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage applications for accuracy and completeness
• Analyze borrower income, assets, liabilities, and supporting documentation
• Structure Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan scenarios
• Run and interpret DU/LPA findings
• Assist with pre-approvals and underwriting preparation
• Coordinate with Loan Officers, processors, underwriters, title companies, insurers, and Realtors
