Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a Liability Claims Supervisor to lead a team of claims professionals. The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and customer service across Auto, General Liability, and Litigation portfolios.

The position is remote and requires strong communication, coaching abilities, and the capacity to travel for meetings as needed. A bachelor's degree and active licensure are expected, with ample opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years claims handling experience including Auto, General Liability, and Litigation
• 2-5 years supervisory experience
• Active Home State or Designated Home State License
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises claims staff in day-to-day operations
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding new staff
• Ensures staff compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and reporting requirements
• Provides training, coaching and performance evaluations to optimize team performance
• Guides staff on complex compensability, investigation, and service account issues
• Acts as liaison for final resolutions with clients and employees
• Participates in customer claim reviews and presentations
• Travel may be required for meetings
• Performs additional duties as assigned
