Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school and active license in Florida or Texas.
- Proven experience handling Lemon Law cases and general/commercial litigation.
- Strong knowledge of procedural laws for depositions and trial prep.
- Proficient in legal research via LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and case management abilities.
- Prefer experience in personal injury and employment law matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of Lemon Law cases from client intake to resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlements, and contracts.
- Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials; advocate for clients.
- Negotiate settlements aligned with client interests; maintain case records.
- Communicate clearly with clients about case developments and options.
- Collaborate on related litigation matters and stay updated on applicable laws.
