Job summary

The Brazos River Authority seeks a qualified professional to develop and maintain relationships with customers, elected officials, and municipalities, supporting the Legislative & Governmental Affairs Manager in creating BRA legislative strategies.

Responsibilities include interacting with local and state decision makers, preparing communications, attending public meetings, and coordinating with BRA staff and media relations to advance BRA priorities.

Qualifications

• Requires establishing and maintaining relationships with local officials, stakeholders, and community organizations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for public meetings and written correspondence.
• Experience in government/public affairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, elected officials, community organizations, and municipalities.
• Assist with BRA legislative strategies and communications with local/state officials.
• Coordinate communication strategies with LGA Manager and Public Information Officer; prepare reports and updates.
