The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support for the various Brazos River Authority (BRA) accounting functions. This is accomplished by processing accounts receivable payments for customer accounts; overseeing travel requests and reconciliations in accordance with the Travel & Business Meetings Procedures; managing the department's utility tracking system; preparing the annual utility consumption report; coordinating the filing of the annual federal census; processing employee expense reimbursements; providing backup support for the accounts payable department; supporting the accounting department by performing general accounting functions; assisting the Controller and co-workers with projects or tasks to ensure goals and deadlines are met; and any other duties as assigned.
$19.80 to $25.24 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.

The BRA was created by the Texas Legislature in 1929 and exists to develop, manage, and protect the water resources of the Brazos River Basin. Today, BRA's staff develops and distributes water supplies, provides water and wastewater treatment, monitors water quality, and pursues water conservation through public education programs.
