Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal, partnering with a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced Business Intake Researcher to support its Information Governance and risk management functions in a fully remote role.

Responsibilities include conducting in-depth research on prospective clients and entities, reviewing backgrounds, SEC filings, and public records, and synthesizing findings to aid due diligence and conflicts checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in risk assessment or due diligence.
• Experience with corporate background checks and public records.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients and related entities to identify risk concerns.
• Review corporate backgrounds, financial information, litigation history, and regulatory records.
• Summarize findings into clear, concise reports for attorneys.
• Support due diligence for new clients, matters, and potential lateral hires.
• Collaborate with conflicts and intake teams to identify issues during the intake process.
• Assist with risk-related information governance initiatives.
