Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a leading law firm to hire a Business Intake Researcher to support its Information Governance and risk management function. This fully remote role requires 5+ years in risk assessment and due diligence.

You will conduct in-depth research on prospective clients, review corporate backgrounds, financial records, litigation and SEC filings, and synthesize findings to assist attorneys with due diligence for new matters and potential lateral hires.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in risk assessment, investigative due diligence or corporate research.
• Experience with KYC/AML concepts and due diligence practices.
• Ability to interpret financial information and SEC filings.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients and related entities to identify risk concerns.
• Review corporate backgrounds, financial history, litigation, regulatory records and SEC filings.
• Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear findings.
• Support attorneys and internal stakeholders with due diligence for new clients and matters.
• Assist with research on potential lateral hires and strategic risk projects.
• Partner with conflicts and business intake teams to identify issues during intake.
