Job summary

TerrAscend is a leading TSX-listed cannabis company with operations across North America. The Legal Assistant will support the Senior Counsel, Securities & Financing, handling board governance, entity maintenance, and U.S. public company compliance.

You will draft materials, manage Diligent, and help create efficient legal processes as the company scales. The role offers remote work eligibility and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance governance initiatives and corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Paralegal degree or experience in a large law firm or in-house corporate law department.
• At least 4 years of paralegal experience including project and operations management, strong qualitative, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare board meeting agendas, minutes, and consents.
• Manage board portal content and user access in Diligent.
• Maintain U.S. and international subsidiaries' entities and filings.
• Draft and review Section 16 filings (Form 4s) with external counsel.
• Assist in D&O questionnaires and corporate governance processes.
• Develop efficient processes to scale legal services.
