Casinolegalindia is seeking a Legal Advisor with deep expertise in Indian gambling and gaming law to guide content, affiliates and marketing teams toward compliant and responsible messaging. You will translate complex regulations into practical guidance for editorial and partnership decisions.

This remote, part-time consultant role emphasizes regulatory accuracy, KYC/AML, data privacy, and responsible gambling standards across all materials.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or LL.M. with a focus on Indian gambling, gaming or digital media law.
• Experience advising iGaming, fantasy sports, poker or digital entertainment in India.
• Knowledge of central vs state regulatory powers and advertising/compliance.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML, age verification and responsible gambling.
• Data privacy obligations affecting gaming-related content.
• Analytical, drafting and interpretation skills; ability to produce plain-language guidance.
• High ethics, discretion and attention to detail; comfortable working asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory on Indian gambling laws at central/state levels, including games of skill vs chance, advertising, age-gating and data protection.
• Review content and marketing materials for legally accurate language and disclosures.
• Monitor regulatory developments and deliver concise updates for internal teams.
• Assess risk of affiliate partners and campaigns; advise compliant messaging.
• Draft and maintain internal compliance SOPs, workflows, and records.
• Train writers, editors and marketers on compliant terminology and changes.
• Support partnership agreements, disclosures and UX compliance with product teams.
