Job summary

Cozen O'Connor's ConnectBridge division seeks a Leave Specialist to administer FMLA, ADA and state and local leave laws. This remote role is based in the contiguous United States and focuses on timely processing, eligibility assessments and documentation.

You will provide guidance to employees and managers, maintain records, deliver training, and stay current with evolving leave regulations while supporting departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in leave administration.
• Strong knowledge of the FMLA, the ADA, and state and local leave laws.
• Sound decision making and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer leave policies and procedures, including the FMLA, the ADA, the PWFA and state and local leave laws.
• Process leave requests and documentation in a timely manner.
• Gather and analyze information to determine employee eligibility for leave.
• Approve or deny leave requests with sound judgment.
• Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave-related issues.
• Provide training to employees and managers on leave policies and procedures.
• Maintain leave records and reports.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to leave laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties to support departmental and organizational objectives.
