Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Supplier Development professional to mature suppliers with lean applications, Six Sigma tools and value stream mapping. You will work with Suppliers, Sourcing, Engineering and Operations to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost across the supply base.

The role emphasizes process development, capacity planning, QA support and problem solving across multiple sites, with up to 60% travel and a remote work option. A strong Lean/Six Sigma background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality management or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of APQP, problem solving, statistics and PDCA.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier development and QA with key suppliers.
• Support suppliers to reach optimum quality and industrial standards.
• Provide technical expertise in process development, capacity planning, inventory requirements and management.
• Drive value stream analysis and Kaizen events with suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving with Project Quality, Engineering and Suppliers.
• Perform trend analysis (NCR, CoPQ, DPPM, DMR) and drive corrective actions.
• Train internal staff on supplier lean improvements and standard work.
• Deploy supplier development procedures regionally.
