Job summary

PECO Pallet Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement & Quality Specialist to support Lean initiatives across operations. The role blends hands-on shop-floor engagement with quality system administration, project tracking, and performance measurement.

You will work with depot and field teams to identify opportunities, map processes, and drive corrective actions. Travel up to 75% is required to support site implementation and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, quality, Lean, or continuous improvement.
• Lean activities, process improvement, root cause analysis or visual management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of quality systems, audits, and CRM processes preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or related certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean implementation projects and coach depot and field teams.
• Support project kickoff, scope definition, process mapping and action planning using Lean/PDCA.
• Identify waste, gaps, and implement practical improvements for standardized work and performance.
• Support 5S, visual management, and workplace organization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work materials, trackers and scorecards.
• Oversee quality concern processes, investigations, corrective actions and CRM updates.
• Assist audits, organize templates/tools, and ensure consistent application of quality procedures.
• Plan and facilitate training sessions, workshops and improvement events.
• Build cross-functional relationships to align priorities and remove barriers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
