Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a Virtual Financial Advisor to re-engage existing clients and build meaningful relationships remotely. You will provide purpose-based guidance across investments, insurance, banking and generosity, delivering tailored recommendations via Teams/Zoom.

In 18–24 months, you could join a local team or build your own practice with Thrivent’s support. You’ll receive thorough onboarding, comprehensive training, and ongoing coaching as you obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; military veterans encouraged to apply.
• FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 required or to be obtained within 90 days.
• State life/health/variable annuities license or obtained within 90 days.
• Eligibility to be securities registered and licensed in all 50 states.
• Background check (criminal and financial) satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with confidence and clarity using relationship-building skills.
• Guide clients aligned with Thrivent’s mission to create and maintain financial plans.
• Meet with clients virtually to provide personal, actionable advice and connect to Thrivent products.
• Leverage a large existing client base and grow with your natural market.
• Utilize Thrivent Planning Platform, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, and Morningstar.
