Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; Civil preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in design of electric utility transmission systems; or 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Onsite work at Leidos or client offices possible; occasional travel may be required.
• Strong communication to act as primary client contact and deliverables owner.
• Business acumen with focus on project performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple design teams on client projects for several utilities.
• Develop and mentor Leidos’ engineering talent.
• Supervise staff through timesheets and annual reviews.
• Lead as part of the Transmission Line Section leadership team.
• Create responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and define scope of work.
• Foster growth through client relationships and solutions.
• Drive process improvements and automation in engineering resources.
• Delegate tasks, forecast workload, and assist recruiting for growth.
• Oversee quality control across deliverables and project portfolios.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Master's degree (preferred)
