Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for Aerospace Forgings, Closed Die, and Rings. The role focuses on translating forging expertise into supplier quality improvement, implementing quality plans, qualifying suppliers, and owning First Article Inspection results.

You will drive supplier compliance to substantiation plans, conduct supplier audits, and lead corrective actions as needed, while collaborating across business functions to meet quality and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

• Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• Owns execution of supplier audits, ensures compliance, and leads corrective plans when needed.
• Drives supplier scorecards and continuous improvement.
• Supports cross-functional cross-business collaboration.
• Manages First Article Inspection results and supplier substantiation plans.
