Job summary
SPG is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the core subsystems of a simulation software platform. You will guide architectural decisions, champion modern engineering practices, lead the delivery of complex features, and safeguard the long-term health of the codebase with a high degree of autonomy.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5 years of desktop software development experience, and proficiency in C/C++, Windows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of desktop software development experience.
- Experience with MODFLOW, MT3D or related contamination transport modeling.
- Proficiency in C (C14 or later).
- Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio (2019 or later).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development.
- Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (e.g., XML, JSON).
