Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a full-remote role.

You will provide technical leadership across core subsystems of a simulation software platform and guide architectural decisions. The ideal candidate has a BS in Computer Science, 5+ years desktop software experience, deep C++14+, Windows development with Visual Studio 2019+, and familiarity with MFC, XML/JSON, and applying ML to simulation.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of desktop software development experience, preferably in simulation
Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14 or later)
Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio 2019 or later
Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development
Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (XML, JSON)
Experience applying ML to simulation

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across core subsystems of the simulation software platform and guide architectural decisions
Lead the delivery of complex features while safeguarding long-term health of the codebase
Mentor engineers and promote modern engineering practices to ensure autonomy and quality
