Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the core subsystems of its simulation software platform. This role emphasizes guiding architectural decisions, championing modern engineering practices, and delivering complex features with a focus on maintaining long-term code health.

You will operate with autonomy, collaborating across disciplines and acting as a trusted expert in your domain, especially around C++ desktop development and Windows UI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of desktop software development experience, ideally from a simulation software background.
Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14 or later).
Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio (2019 or later).
Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development.
Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (e.g., XML, JSON).
Applying ML to simulation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across core subsystems of the simulation software platform.
Guide architectural decisions and champion modern engineering practices.
Lead delivery of complex features while safeguarding long-term health of the codebase.
