Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/infrastructure engineering with observability focus.
• 3+ years in hands-on observability design and engineering solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with AI development, preferably AI observability.
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing data logging solutions.
• 2+ years automation experience.
• 2+ years maturing/scaling Observability.
• Strong foundation in OS, networking, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
• Agile delivery experience and observability maturity strategies.
• Experience with Splunk Cloud Enterprise & ES (SPL, dashboards, correlation searches, data models).
• Data onboarding (HEC, UF, TA development).
• Integration with SNOW, SOAR, ITSM/SecOps tools.
• Observability, Monitoring and alerting strategy design.
• Automation and CD practices.
• Leading cross-functional programs across technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize observability environments using software engineering best practices.
• Build automation scripts and tools for observability instrumentation and deployment.
• Integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines with IaC and configuration management.
• Conduct observability code reviews and automated validation checks.
• Build AI-native tools for autonomous issue detection and resolution.
• Lead design of distributed systems focusing on reliability and performance.
• Manage data routing, transformation, and endpoint monitoring integrations.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across teams to align observability with business goals.
• Communicate technical insights to leadership.
