Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly accomplished Lead Software Architect to lead enterprise-wide architecture initiatives and define long-term technology strategy. This role requires deep expertise in software architecture, cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and DevSecOps practices.

You will mentor senior engineers and influence multiple teams while delivering secure, scalable platforms. The position is 100% remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise-scale systems.
• Proven expertise architecting and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient in Java, Go, C++, C#, or similar backend languages.
• Strong cloud proficiency across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Extensive experience with performance engineering, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise software architecture strategy across multiple products and teams.
• Design highly scalable, cloud-native distributed systems for enterprise workloads.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance.
• Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and high-impact initiatives.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
• Drive platform modernization, microservices adoption, and cloud migration.
