Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Lead Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive the design and execution of cross-cutting engineering initiatives in a fully remote US role.

As a Staff engineer, you will shape architecture, raise the engineering bar, mentor engineers, review designs, and translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions while collaborating with product, design, operations, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record leading cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Strong design and architecture skills; experience with reliability and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of large, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Develop architectural standards adopted across multiple teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction.
• Lead detailed technical design reviews and architectural decisions for high-impact projects.
• Translate long-term goals into concrete engineering plans.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of core platforms.
• Lead production incident response and post-incident learning.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and executives on roadmaps.
• Set hiring bar through interviews and recruiting initiatives.
• Contribute hands-on code for high-impact components.
• Foster engineering culture with code quality and documentation.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional planning and decisions.
• Author architecture decision records and RFCs.
