Job summary

Intertek USA is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join the People Assurance team remotely. You will lead design direction, work with Head of Design, Product, Engineering and other designers to craft solutions for frontline employees, managers and administrators.

Convergence is the long-term focus, with initial responsibilities covering Wisetail, Alchemy and related platforms. This remote role requires US residency and legal work authorization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing digital products or software experiences.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in design/HCI.
• Experience guiding design direction across teams and journeys.
• Portfolio showing shipped digital products or major user workflows.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering through implementation.
• Experience mentoring other designers and leading design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design direction for Convergence product areas.
• Create polished interfaces with strong hierarchy and details.
• Use sketches, wireframes and prototypes to test decisions.
• Apply UX thinking to journeys, navigation and flows.
• Develop reusable components and contribute to design systems.
• Partner with Product and research to validate workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure usable, accessible experiences.
• Lead design reviews and mentor designers across teams.
