Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a Supervisor LPG Physician Coding to provide day-to-day leadership for professional physician coding for the Lee Physician Group. The Supervisor will oversee coders, ensuring accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding, CMS and AMA compliance, and alignment with payer policies while supporting quality documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field required; three years' experience may substitute.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in professional physician coding; at least 1 year in supervisory/lead role.
• Certification: CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA or equivalent required.
• License: N/A

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and technical leadership for physician coding functions.
• Supervise physician coders and ensure accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding.
• Ensure CMS/AMA compliance and payer policy adherence.
• Collaborate with coding leadership, education, compliance, and practice operations to support quality, productivity, revenue integrity, and regulatory compliance.
