Job summary

Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, seeks a Lead Pharmacy Technician for a remote role within Arizona. You will lead technicians, coordinate daily workflow, and coach staff while ensuring quality and accuracy in fertility medication handling.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years Pharmacy Technician work experience.
Valid AZ Pharmacy technician license and national certification.
Experience with Script Med system.
Coaching or mentoring experience a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor daily workflow in the pharmacy.
Lead team huddles and provide coaching to technicians.
Interact with healthcare providers and guide patients on medication coverage.
Support and train new employees.
Conduct quality and productivity audits.
Identify opportunities for training and retraining.
Create, modify, and adhere to SOP/SWI.
Cross-train in multiple areas and maintain proficiency.
Champion continuous improvement for the team and work streams.
Juggle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
