IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team and lead HVAC design for pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities across the U.S. You will independently manage projects or support as a technical expert on multiple concurrent assignments.

Responsibilities include directing mechanical systems design, reviewing calculations, coordinating with clients and project managers, ensuring codes and budgets, and guiding design staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes and codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and load calculations / energy analysis.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design of mechanical HVAC systems for pharma/life science facilities.
• Lead projects through feasibility, basis of design and detailed design.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers on scope, budget and staffing.
• Review contractor applications for payment and manage document completion.
• Ensure code compliance and mentor design staff.
