Allbridge, LLC is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician to head field installations for structured cabling, fiber, and low-voltage systems on commercial projects. You will lead crews, coordinate with managers and customers, and ensure high-quality work while upholding safety standards.

The role is remote with up to 90% travel to customer sites across the United States. Ideal candidates bring a decade of cabling experience, leadership in telecom installations, and a commitment to delivering

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on low-voltage cabling experience.
  • Minimum 5 years leading commercial telecommunications or structured cabling installation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience installing commercial structured cabling systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and scopes of work.
  • Experience building and organizing MDFs and IDFs.
  • Proficient in terminating patch panels, keystone jacks, RJ45 connectors, and fiber optic systems.
  • Experience with professional cable and fiber testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and labeling skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Willingness to attend training and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation crews on assigned projects and ensure safety compliance.
  • Coordinate work with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Serve as the primary on-site customer contact for installation activities and field coordination.
  • Perform site surveys and develop installation strategies based on conditions.
  • Manage project milestones and provide real-time progress updates.
  • Ensure installations meet project requirements, quality standards, and schedules.
  • Complete daily reports, inspections, inventories, and invoicing documentation.
  • Obtain customer acceptance upon project completion.
  • Participate in meetings and RFIs with stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement through project reviews.
