Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to join its SaaS team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based enterprise applications used by energy organizations.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, microservices, AWS, REST/SOAP, databases, messaging systems, and cloud-native development, with a passion for software craftsmanship and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience building high-performance, scalable enterprise apps.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL database.
• Experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, log analytics, and APM/observability tools.
• Experience with Apache Camel and messaging systems (RabbitMQ).
• AWS services and CI/CD pipelines; microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in full SDLC for cloud-based enterprise apps.
• Design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate REST and SOAP web services, API gateways, relational databases, and microservices.
• Write clean, well-documented code using best practices and design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to improve quality.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams in Agile.
