Job summary

Paylocity is hiring a Lead HR Applications to provide operational leadership and technical expertise for HR technology systems. You will guide the HR Applications team, prioritize projects, and ensure effective administration, enhancements, and support of HR systems.

Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to optimize processes, analytics, and integrations. The role focuses on data integrity, system performance, and high-quality service delivery while enabling AI and automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years supporting HRIS/HR technology or related business applications.
• Experience leading HR technology implementations and cross-functional projects.
• Leadership experience through supervision or project leadership.
• Experience with AI-enabled technologies, automation, workflow, and system integrations preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in HR systems, SQL, Excel, reporting tools, analytics, and dashboards.
• Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the HR Applications team and establish governance standards.
• Oversee HRIS design, testing, configurations, workflows, reports, interfaces, and upgrades.
• Serve as liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to meet business requirements.
• Develop system documentation, training materials, and end-user support resources.
• Provide reporting and analytics support including workforce analytics and compliance reporting.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to support operations and decision-making.
• Monitor data quality and opportunities to improve processes and automation.
